Welcome Daniel Leanse, our new Musical Director.
Daniel plays guitar and piano and has led Jewish music in synagogues and camps for over 20 years. He brings to Tamid a passion for leading groups in prayer and guiding people of all ages to musical and spiritual heights.
Daniel’s arrival marks several enhancements to our music program, which I believe anchors a congregation and transmits the soul of Judaism. In addition to leading our Community Shabbat (First Friday at 6 PM) and High Holiday worship services, we will offer these new musical experiences:
“Shaboom!” Shabbat morning sing-a-long for young families (ages birth to 4)
“Late Night Shabbat” for Young Professionals (ages 20-30)
“One Together” Youth and Adult Shabbat Choir
We want to thank Jill Kaufman, Jamie Propp, and Barbara Walters for leading the task force that selected Daniel as our next worship leader. Please join us for Daniel’s first Shabbat service on Friday, April 4th at 6 PM.
