“Open to Possibility” is our 2021 High Holiday theme. After the year we’ve had, who among us isn’t ready for a fantastic, warm, and uplifting holiday season! Come join us at the Chapel or in Battery Park City for Neila in the Park!

This year, access to our in-chapel High Holy Day ceremonies are limited to Tamid members with RSVP. (Please contact Christina to join the wait-list). Non-members, guests, and friends are invited to join Tamid for Open Community ceremonies in the Park or via Livestream. COVID-19 Safety Procedures
We require all adults ages 12 and older to have COVID vaccination and ask that while indoors to please wear your masks properly. Families will sit together in pods and all members must make reservations for in-chapel gatherings so we can accommodate social distancing. Between Group A and Group B gatherings, each seat will be disinfected properly.

Group A: In-Person Chapel Gatherings for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, 9AM*
Families with unvaccinated children should attend the 9AM ceremony which will conclude outdoor on the patio with apples and honey and shofar blast. Inspiring for all ages! The music and prayer ceremony will be exactly the same for both Group A and Group B.

Group B: In-Person Chapel Gatherings for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, 11AM*
Families with vaccinated children and individuals who have proof of vaccination should reserve in Group B. We will conclude this session outdoors with Tashlich and Shofar in the Battery Park City with Group A so that we can celebrate be together.

Open Livestream: On-line ceremony for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur
Please join us on Rosh Hashanah (Sept. 7) and Yom Kippur (Sept. 16) at 11 AM EDT. We invite college students, Tamid friends and family living outside NY, US Military Personnel, and you, to join us online. Click for the High Holiday Livestream.

Open Community Yom Kippur Havdalah and Final Shofar Blast In the Park, 6:30 PM
All members, guests, and friends are invited to Wagner Park to illuminate the braided candle, to hear the final blast of the shofar, and to celebrate a renewal of life. Sept. 16th, 6:30-7:15 PM

RSVP Today for In-Person Chapel ceremonies*
We ask members to RSVP to Christina for any in-person chapel gatherings. Seating is limited and all families or couples will sit as pod groups. As always, we will gather at the Iconic 9/11 Chapel in Lower Manhattan on Broadway and Vesey (209 Broadway). Please allow extra 30 minutes to pass through security via the Vesey Street gate on the North side of the Chapel Gardens. The Chapel is ADA compatible.
