In this lesson you will learn about the start of the Jewish Year – Rosh Hashanah. You will also learn why Jewish people celebrate this holiday, why it’s called Rosh Hashanah and  some of the traditions take place during Rosh Hashanah.
 

Holiday Lesson: The Holiday of Hanukkah
Mes Ark This lesson will teach students about the history, practice and ritual of Hanukkah. Students will learn about Judah Maccabee and the origins of Hanukkah, how to light the menorah and sing the candle blessings, and will learn how to play the dreidle game. Click the image of the menorah to begin your lesson. 

Holiday Lesson: The Joy of Purim

Holiday Lessons: Passover and The Exodus

Passover SederLets take an ancient Journey together with Moses, Aaron and Miriam. They led the Israelites from slavery to freedom and along the way had to free themselves from slavery to the Pharaoh, cross the Red Sea without a boat, get the Ten Commandments from God, and march all the way to Israel. You learn about these stories, all about Passover, and how to participate at a Passover Seder. Enjoy!
