Hear the stories of civil rights heroes and walk the Civil Rights Trail in Alabama with Tamid. Individuals and families are invited to join other Tamid members for a journey of a lifetime. Youth 13 years and older can travel “solo” under the supervision of our parent chaperone.

9 AM Depart Tamid
10AM Arrive or meet at LGA
11:55A Depart NYC (LGA) and fly to Montgomery, AL
4 PM Arrive at Hotel in Montgomery
5 PM River Tour and Southern Dinner Experience
8 PM Movie and Discussion: Selma
Sunday, May 28
8 AM Walking Tour of Alabama State Capital
10 AM Church service at Dexter Ave Church
11:30 Depart Montgomery by Bus
1 PM Lunch in Selma
3 PM Tour National Service Selma Museum and Walk Edward Pettis Bridge
5 PM Visit Brown Chapel AME
6 PM Drive to Birmingham
8 PM Overnight in Birmingham

9 AM Walking Tour of Birmingham
10 AM Visit 16th Ave Baptist Church
11 AM Visit Birmingham Civil Rights Museum
1 PM Lunch in Birmingham
4:35 P Depart Birmingham Airport for NYC
8:04 P Arrive NYC
9:00 P Pick up at Tamid for teens travelling with Parent Chaperone
Cost
$895 per person includes flights, hotel, transportation and meals.
