Annual Donor Opportunities

Monthly Shabbat Gathering Dinner and Kiddush: $1800
Supporting one of Tamid’s monthly shabbat gatherings and kiddish is a great way to honor a joyous event in your life such as a bar/bat mitzvah, engagement, birth of a new child/grandchild, wedding anniversary, etc.

Rosh Hashanah Luncheon: $3600
Over 250 of our members and friends gather for a New Year luncheon following our shofar blast. This is a wonderful moment to support our community and help lift everyone into the new year with health and happiness.

Yom Kippur Break-fast: $3600
Following havdalah on Yom Kippur, we bring together our community for a light break-fast. After a day of fasting and deep reflection, this is an important moment to be grateful and hopeful in the new year.

Hanukkah Celebration: $3600
From latkes and applesauce to the annual driedle competition, our Hanukkah celebration is a highlight for children of all ages who love to spin, spin, spin, and to recount the legacy of the Maccabees.

Purim Show: $3600
Support the production, writers, and directors, who create a new Purim show each year that parodies a major movie or broadway show. In addition to Tamid members and students, professional performers entertain to everyone’s delight.

Passover Seder: $5000
The annual seder provides a meaningful opportunity to retell the ancient story of the Exodus, to break matzoh, to ask the four questions, to drink the four glasses, and to teach our children the meaning of freedom.

Tax-Wise Giving to support Tamid

1. Every donation is 100% tax deductible.
2. Donating appreciated securities can save up to 23.8% in federal capital gains taxes. You will receive an income tax deduction for the total market value of your donation on the day Tamid receives them.
3. If you are over age 70+, you can make a gift from your IRA of up to $100,000 to avoid income taxes on your withdrawal.
