+ We’re building an Ark!
Help us create Tamid’s Ark, an ornamental structure that will display and protect our Torah scroll!
Tamid’s Ark will be housed at St. Paul’s 9/11 Chapel (left) where we celebrate Shabbat and holidays. We are honored to have the Ark complement this historic landmark where over three million people visit each year.
This one-of-a-kind Ark, designed by local artists, will reinforce our commitment to the Jewish Community in Lower Manhattan and embody our creative and open culture. This Ark will be part of our lives and our children’s lives forever.
We hope you and your family will join us in creating Tamid’s Ark. Every contributor’s name (or the name of a loved one) will be placed on the Tzedek Wall at Tamid (see below).
The first 25 donors will receive a special gift (see below).
Founding Ark supporters will be featured on a permanent plaque adjacent to the Ark that will stay with Tamid’s Ark when it is on loan to museums, galleries, and other venues in the future.
The artists rendering of our Tzedek Wall (below) will proudly display your name, the name of your family, or the name of a loved one in our main lobby. Contributors giving at $5,000 or more will also be named on the permanent plaque that will stand adjacent to Tamid’s Ark in the Chapel and stay with the Ark when on loan in the future.
