Lets walk this Sunday in Battery Park City at 9 AM. We’ve partnered with AFMRC and other Jewish organizations to fight against breast and ovarian cancer through the third annual NYC Schlep, a 5K walk/run to benefit the important work being done to fight these diseases by Rabin Medical Center in Israel. Book Club meets next Tuesday, June 11, 7 PM at Pushcart Cafe, 221 East Broadway to discuss “When Skateboards will be Free” by Said Sayrafiezadeh. Mr. Sayrafiezadeh will join the evening at some point to answer questions and to sign books. Read more
Congratulations Sam! Last Saturday afternoon, Sam, age 8 and a 3rd grader at the Anderson School, was the only pitcher out of 15 to strike out the rabbi at our Ark fundraiser at Pier 40. Congratulations Sam, great job!
Congratulations Guy! At the Tamid Challenge Cup, Guy, 4th grader at PS 234, was awarded this years, Tamid Star Award for colllecting the most number of mitzvah points over the course of the year. We’re so proud of you Guy, mazel tov!
