Shabbat Spot: Rabbi Levine interviews Holocaust Survivor, Sami Steigman

Last week, people all over the world are honored Yom HaShoah – Holocaust Rememberance Day. Our hearts cry out for the shattered lives and at the same time, we’re mindful of the righteous of the world who sheltered, fed, and protected our People and others, at the risk of their own lives.

The generation of survivors will soon be past and that is why Steven Spielberg, other activists, and organizations have attempted to document their stories. Earlier this week, Rabbi Levine sat down with  Holocaust Survivor, Sami Steigmann.

With the right context, we believe this interview is appropriate to share with children ten years and older, but parents need to make the right decision for their families.

On this Shabbat, we are thankful for the gift of life and inspired by Mr. Steigman’s messages of hope, inspiration, and forgiveness.

Shabbat Shalom to you and your families,

Darren
