Grades 2 – 7

2nd-5th Grade: A “Mini-Seminar” curriculum. Tamid is focused on depth of learning and experience. Students meet once per week from 3:30 to 5:30 and engage in mini-seminars with holiday focused sessions at Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Hanukah, Purim, and Passover.

Each session includes Judaica, Hebrew, Prayer, and a popcorn snack! Children who arrive early are welcome to play board games with their friends and teachers, ping pong, or just hang out and listen to great Jewish music before class begins.


6th Grade: Pre- Mitzvah Class focused on Jewish Prayer
Students meet once per week from 4:30-6 PM and are encouraged to attend five Tamid Shabbat Evening services, three field trips, and a weekend overnight. The curriculum focuses primarily on prayer learning and the music of the Bar/Bat Mitzvah ceremony. Pre-requisite is having earned the Hebrew Pin (Hebrew letter and sound mastery).


7th Grade: Bar and Bat Mitzvah Program focused on Jewish Ethics
Students meet once per week from 4:30-6 PM encouraged to attend seven Tamid Shabbat Evening services, complete the Mitzvah and Ethics Curriculum, complete the Mitzvah Checklist, and do their individual Mitzvah Project.
